Job Overview

- We are seeking a dependable G2 Gas Fitter Technician to install, inspect, maintain, and repair gas piping systems and related equipment.
- This hands-on role involves working at residential, commercial, or industrial sites, diagnosing issues, and completing work safely and in accordance with applicable codes and procedures.
- A valid Canadian driver’s license is required for travel to job sites. Relevant trade experience is valued; training may be provided for role-specific procedures.

Responsibilities

- Install, connect, inspect, and maintain gas lines, fittings, regulators, and related equipment.
- Diagnose gas-system issues and complete repairs, replacements, and routine maintenance.
- Test systems for leaks and verify secure operation before returning equipment to service.
- Read and interpret schematics, equipment manuals, and work orders.
- Work with boilers, HVAC systems, and gas-powered appliances as needed.
- Coordinate with customers, coworkers, and other trades to complete work efficiently.




- Maintain tools and equipment, document completed work, and keep job sites orderly.
- Follow safety practices, building codes, and applicable regulations at all times.

Skills

- Required: Valid Canadian driver’s license and ability to travel to assigned job sites.
- Mechanical knowledge and practical troubleshooting ability.
- Experience or familiarity with plumbing, maintenance, HVAC, boilers, or appliance repair.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical instructions.
- Welding, mechanic experience, and construction experience are beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and commitment to safe work practices.

Pay: $25.00-$50.00 per hour
