Job Overview

We are seeking a customer-focused Computer Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain computers and mobile devices. The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical ability with clear communication and a helpful approach to customer service. Experience with retail sales is a plus, as the role may include explaining repair options and helping customers select suitable products or services.

Responsibilities

- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues on computers and mobile devices.
- Troubleshoot devices running Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS.
- Inspect computer hardware, identify faulty components, and complete repairs or replacements using appropriate hand tools.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical documentation when needed.
- Set up, configure, and test devices, applications, and peripherals.
- Explain technical issues and repair options in transparent, customer-friendly language.
- Document diagnostics, repairs, and service outcomes accurately.




- Keep the work area organized and follow safe handling practices for equipment and customer devices.
- Support customers with product questions and, when appropriate, assist with retail sales.

Skills

- Practical knowledge of computer hardware, mobile devices, and common operating systems.
- Familiarity with Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS.
- Robust software troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
- Comfort using hand tools and interpreting schematics or technical documentation.
- Valuable analysis skills, attention to detail, and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Clear communication and a patient, service-oriented manner.
- Retail sales or customer service experience is helpful but not required.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 25.0 per week
