Intermediate Commercial and/or Specialty Insurance Litigation Lawyer (ON SITE POSITION)

Gilbertson Davis has an immediate opening for an on site broad based commercial and insurance litigation lawyer with preferably 5 to 10 years experience to join its busy Toronto based Boutique. The successful candidate will support the practices of more senior counsel and be encouraged also to develop and assume independent carriage of files. Qualifications sought include keen writing, draftsmanship, research, and analytical abilities, an intimate acquaintance with the Ontario Rules of Civil Procedure, the ability to respond quickly to the demands of a commercial and insurance litigation practice, and an enthusiasm for entrepreneurial endeavour and aspirations to be a principal in the Firm. A marketing plan, a history of attracting work as demonstrated by at least a partial portable practice,



a team oriented and “can do” work ethic directed to supporting firm marketing and administration needs are assets.

Compensation based on a share of collected billings commensurate with qualifications and experience with overhead burdens paid by Firm. Advantages package.
