Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly, attentive Bartender/Server to provide welcoming and efficient service in a hospitality-focused environment. This role combines serving guests with preparing and serving beverages, processing orders and payments, and helping maintain a clean, safe dining area. Restaurant, food service, and bartending experience are valued.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests, answer questions, and provide attentive, qualified customer service.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system; experience with Micros POS is a plus.
- Prepare and serve beverages, including alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and applicable food safety practices.
- Deliver food and drinks promptly, check in with guests, and respond to requests or concerns.
- Process transactions, operate the register, and handle cash and other payments accurately.
- Follow food handling, sanitation, and responsible service procedures.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to support smooth,



timely service.
- Keep the bar, tables, and service areas clean, organized, and stocked.
- Use time management and basic math skills to prioritize tasks, verify orders, and complete transactions.

Qualifications

- Customer service, hospitality, and communication skills.
- Experience in bartending, serving, restaurant work, the food industry, or food service is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems; Micros POS experience is a plus.
- Ability to handle cash and complete cashiering tasks accurately.
- Basic math and math skills for order checks and payment processing.
- Knowledge of food safety and food handling practices, or willingness to learn.
- Strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
