Stone Tile International is looking for a Warehouse Team Member /Forklift Operator in the GTA to join our agile team!

Stone Tile is currently looking to fill one (1) Warehouse Tea Member/ Forklift Driver position to support our day to day receiving, storing, documenting, and delivering needs throughout the GTA.

What will you do?

The Warehouse Team Member / Forklift Operator role has many diverse and interesting responsibilities, the primary ones are outlined below:

- Responsible for safe operation of counterbalance and reach trucks.
- Use of a scanner to complete orders, scanning to pick and deposit to locations.




- Plan and execute perpetual inventory stock counts and inventory accuracy checks.
- Receive all Stone “tile” containers, including put aways.
- Collaborate with Warehouse Manager and inventory staff to plan and execute inventory management activities.
- Perform physical inventory counts.
- Review data to identify inaccuracies and discrepancies in inventory; implement and manage control measures to address and resolve issues.
- Support with Shipping Team in fulfilling daily inventory inquiries.
- Manage and respond to inventory requests from Sales, Customer Service and other departments.
- Conduct investigations into inventory management incidents to verify information and resolve complaints.
- Other duties as required.

What type of experience and skills do you have?

- 3+ years experience in a related position
- Valid Forklift certification, refresher training and coaching will be provided.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with strong oral and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Goal oriented and self directed.
- Clear Criminal Background Check.

What is considered an asset?

- Certified Counterbalance forklift operator.
- Knowledge of workplace safety policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of First Aid and CPR.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand,



walk and operate a forklift for majority of shift.
- Professional/mature demeanor under stressful situations.
