Our client, a leading manufacturer and distributor within the food industry, is currently searching for a Production Supervisor to report directly to the Production Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee day to day activities of production personnel to ensure targeted goals are being met

Keep management updated regarding personnel needs, work related issues and safety concerns

Train and evaluate employees with respect to job duties as well as health & safety concerns

Investigate and deal with personnel needs as they arise

Capable of manufacturing initial part and compare to quality samples

Preparation of production reports

Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives

Interact with maintenance to facilitate effective PM execution

Special projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:





Completion of a University Degree, College Diploma or similar

A minimum of 3+years supervisory experience working in a food manufacturing environment

Lean manufacturing experience is a plus

Solid leadership and communication skills
