POSITION TITLE: Cake Decorator, Production Baker (Full-Time)

Scope

We're looking for a talented Cake Decorator & Production Baker who loves bringing creativity to life through stunning desserts and handcrafted baked goods. If you're passionate about baking, have a flair for design, and take pride in creating products that delight customers, we'd love to meet you. Working alongside our Bakery Production Manager, you'll play an important role in crafting and decorating our signature cakes and helping produce the high-quality, from-scratch bakery items our community has come to know and love. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently while contributing to a supportive and passionate team.

What You'll Bring

- Baking degree or certification from an accredited culinary institution.
- Availability to work 5 days per week, including one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday).
- Flexibility to work additional hours during key holiday seasons such as Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
- Minimum two (2) years of cake decorating experience, including proficiency in piping, masking, fondant, buttercream, and royal icing techniques.
- General knowledge and experience in bakery production.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the bakery.
- Commitment to company policies, food safety standards, and workplace procedures.
- Willingness to assist with additional bakery duties as required.





What You'll Do

- Design and decorate beautiful cakes and specialty desserts in collaboration with the Bakery Production Manager.
- Bring creativity, attention to detail, and artistic flair to every creation.
- Assist with daily bakery production and preparation of from-scratch products such as muffins, pasties, loaves, pies, and our signature “Log Cake”..
- Maintain a clean, organized, and protected work environment.
- Follow all provincial health, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Handle delicate and perishable products with care and precision.
- Uphold professional standards of personal appearance and hygiene.
- Contribute to a positive, supportive bakery culture where quality and teamwork come first.

Working Conditions

- Primarily indoor bakery environment.




- Occasional work in refrigerated or freezer areas.
- Standing and physical movement throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and move bakery products and supplies as required.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
