- Cardiac Clinic in the community is looking for a self-motivated Licensed Practical Nurse to work with our team of specialist doctors. The LPN responsibility would be collecting patient history and setting up IV Lines. Coordinate testing and appointment with Cardiologist and Cardiac Testing. Send out reports and updating the Cardiologists. Following up on patient with reminder calls.
· Current CLPNA registration
· Must be IV certified
· Completion of the LPN medication administration module required
· Current CPR with AED
- 2 years of nursing experience in acute care, primary care, and/or a clinic setting
- Experience working with people from different cultures and backgrounds
- Demonstrated and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Robust working knowledge of electronic health records an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications
