Overview

Northwest Equipment is currently hiring for an Industrial Shop Laborer to support day-to-day shop and rentals and repair operations through hands on -Disassembly of equipment , and material handling. This practical role suits someone who works carefully with tools, follows task instructions, and is looking to gain skills in the trades.

Duties

- Assist with Disassembly and assembly tasks, preparing materials and components for shop work.
- Use hand tools and power tools appropriately ,cleaning parts for service.
- Move, stage, and organize materials in warehouse and shop areas; operate a forklift and zoom boom when qualified and authorized.
- Driving a truck picking up parts ,have Class 5 and clean driving record.

Skills

Required: Practical ability to follow instructions, handle materials in a secure manner. Must be able to lift 50 Lbs,



and use hand tools and power tools for assigned shop tasks. Strong Mechanical knowledge and ability and understand industrial equipment an asset. Attention to detail and clear communication help maintain organized, dependable operations. Preferred: Shop experience and forklift skills are advantageous, along with familiarity with shop workflows and working collaboratively. You will begin as a shop helper and this can lead to getting skills and training in mechanics , painting and other trades.

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
