Overview

As a Robotic Welder Operator, you’ll support manufacturing work by operating robotic welding equipment and completing related fabrication and assembly tasks. You’ll use practical shop skills to help produce accurate, dependable work and keep jobs moving smoothly for colleagues.

Duties

- Operate robotic welding equipment and perform welding tasks, including MIG and TIG welding, following blueprints and schematics.
- Prepare and handle materials using hand and power tools, calipers, basic math, and equipment such as plasma cutters and press brake machines.
- Support machining, assembly, ductwork, and construction-related tasks; use mechanical knowledge to identify issues and maintain orderly work areas.
- Assist with material movement using rigging, cranes, or forklifts when needed, following safe work practices.

Experience

Required:



Practical welding and manufacturing capabilities, blueprint and schematic reading, and confidence using hand and power tools, calipers, and basic math are important for accurate fabrication and assembly. Preferred: Related construction experience and familiarity with MIG or TIG welding, machining, plasma cutting, press brake machines, ductwork, rigging, cranes, and forklifts are advantageous. Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
