POSITION SUMMARY

Eastside Industrial Coatings and Composites is looking for an experienced Grinder.

This position is responsible for grinding precision components for our clients. The Grinder position works very closely with various production departments and must be able to understand complex manufacturing instructions.

This position is a full-time, hourly paid position, whichenjoys many perks, such as a Monday to Friday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm schedule,



with both day and evening shifts available, an amazingcomplement of employee benefits and deferred profit-sharing

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE POSITIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Collect parts and required trimming jigs from storage location/racks and place on workstation for processing
- Inspect parts to ensure part meets the required specifications to process. Utilizing jigs and go/no-go gauges, mark off the part with required scribe lines and drilling requirements.
- Utilizing pneumatic tools, cut, sand, and drill the part to designated scribe lines, part thickness or other designations on the part.
- Transport completed parts to the next work station or holding area.
- Ensure the flow of work orders is maintained as directed by following the schedule and proper staging of jobs
- Complete assigned work within the given timeframe and according to specifications.
- Keep all work areas, including part storage area, clean and organized, emptying scrap and garbage containers as necessary.
- Cleaning and maintaining work tools such as grinders, cutting wheels and go/no-gauges.
- Cleaning and maintaining safety equipment such as respirators and dust masks.
- Maintain all quality standards in accordance with the specifications for each job in order to meet customer requirements.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS

- Required: 6 months of related experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Required: Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
- Preferred: High school diploma or GED from an accredited school system or program
- Preferred: Possess knowledge of and ability to identify and work with FRP components and machining tools/equipment.

- Ability to wear a full-face Respirator while performing work tasks.
