Candidate Must Have:
- Must HAVE 2-3 years of Canadian pharmacy experience
-Compounding background
-Graduation from a recognized pharmacy assistant program or an equivalent
combination of education, training, and experience
- Ability to multitask
- Meet deadlines and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.
- Self motivated and solution oriented
- Keep department inventory filled and maintained
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
Job Duties:
- Greeting and confirmation of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling
- Data entry of patient care information
- Count and label prescriptions with the correct item and quantity.
- Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems,
- General OTC inquiries from patients and referral to pharmacist where required and necessary
- Handling customer prescription pickup
- Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required in the pharmacy
Hours:
We are looking for a candidate with flexible availability to work about 40 hours per week.
