Break Press Operator

Great opportunity! We are currently seeking a full-time, permanent
Brake Press Operator

Flexible to work on weekends and overtime as required
Benefits after 3 months probationary period

Job Responsibilities

- Setup and operate manual/automatic Break presses
- Provide expertise, support in all areas of the break press including setup and operation including but not limited to; Break Press operations, measuring devices, gauges, tooling, material handling and safety
- Adherence to production specifications
- Follow all safety practices during machine operations
- Review drawings of product prior to/during production
- Ensure punch press is setup and producing quality parts per spec.
- Complete quality inspections of finished/in process product to meet product requirements
- Perform daily preventative maintenance on machine(s)

- Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Vocational or technical training an asset
- 2-3 years punch press setup/operation experience
- Read and interpret blue prints, drawings and other specs.
- Able to use measuring devices i.e. measuring tape, ruler, calipers
- Must have problem solving skills
- Strong organization skills




- Able to stand and perform repetitive motions for extended periods of time
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs

Summary
As a Brake Press Operator, you will be a vital part of our manufacturing team, utilizing your core skills in machining, basic math, and calipers to operate press brake machines effectively. Your premium skills in CNC programming, CNC laser cutting, and CNC milling machines will be essential in producing high-quality metal components. Additionally, your relevant skills in blueprint reading, mechanical knowledge, and quality inspection will ensure precise and accurate fabrication processes. With a high school diploma or GED and expertise in using calipers, you will contribute to our production efficiency and product quality.
