Overview

- Provide professional massage therapy services tailored to each client’s needs, preferences, and wellness goals.
- Create a welcoming, respectful environment and deliver attentive customer service throughout each client’s visit.
- Maintain client privacy and follow applicable health, safety, sanitation, and professional practice standards.
- This is a paid position.

Responsibilities

- Conduct client intake and discuss relevant health history, concerns, and treatment preferences.
- Assess client needs and adapt massage techniques and session plans appropriately.
- Explain treatment approaches clearly, check in with clients during sessions, and respond to feedback.
- Maintain accurate, confidential client records using appropriate medical terminology.
- Prepare, clean, and sanitize the treatment room, equipment, and linens between appointments.
- Communicate professionally with clients and colleagues, including when discussing care plans or scheduling needs.




- Recognize when a client’s needs fall outside the scope of massage therapy and recommend consultation with an appropriate healthcare professional.

Experience

- Current Registered Massage Therapist registration or licensure in the applicable jurisdiction is required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of massage therapy techniques, anatomy, contraindications, and protected treatment practices.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to listen carefully, explain services, and establish clear client expectations.
- A client-focused approach, sound judgment, professionalism, and commitment to confidentiality.
- Experience maintaining treatment notes and client records is preferred.

Pay: $100.00-$150.00 per hour
