We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Resident Building Manager / Superintendent to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of a residential property. COMPENSATION + RENT + VARIABLE COMPENSATION

Duties

- Manage all aspects of building operations, including maintenance, safety, and cleanliness to ensure a welcoming environment for residents
- Respond promptly to resident inquiries, service requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy
- Coordinate routine inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance using property management software such as Yardi or CMMS systems
- Oversee vendor relationships, negotiate service contracts, and ensure timely completion of work orders
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, resident communications, and administrative documentation through data entry and filing systems
- Handle administrative tasks such as rent collection, lease renewals, and updating resident information in property management platforms




- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies at all times

Requirements

- Proven experience in property management or building supervision with a strong background in maintenance or facilities management
- Familiarity with Yardi property management software or similar platforms
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse resident needs effectively
- Strong administrative experience including data entry, filing, and managing documentation efficiently
- Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for scheduling repairs and tracking work orders
- Effective negotiation skills to coordinate vendor services and resolve issues favorably for the property
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills to interact professionally with residents, vendors, and team members
- Office experience combined with administrative expertise is highly desirable
