Overview
We are seeking an experienced Formwork Carpenter to assist our construction team in delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisory skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, ensuring that all work adheres to industry standards and safety regulations. This role requires proficiency and the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.

Duties

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of carpenters and other construction workers on-site.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop timelines and schedules for project completion.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior carpenters, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements





- Proven experience as a Formwork Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Understand drawings, and be able to perform tasks
- Excellent skills in blueprint reading, quality control, and schematics interpretation.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
