Class 1A Truck Driver: Year-Round Farm Position

Kerpan Farms Inc. | Near Kenaston, SK (Hwy 11, south of Saskatoon) | Start: December 2026 / January 2027

We're a family-run grain and cattle operation on about 8,600 acres. We haul our own grain, and we need a driver who wants more than miles: a real home base, a team that'll teach you, and a path to running the big equipment.

What you'll do

- Winter: haul grain to elevators and processors on our contracts; shop work and equipment prep between loads
- Seeding through harvest: run equipment. That means trucking, grain cart and tillage, and growing into the sprayer and combine as you earn it.
- Help keep the yard, the bins and the equipment in top shape all year

Who we're looking for

- Class 1A licence preferred. Don't have it yet? We'll help you get it.
- New 1A holders welcome. We know the trucking companies won't hire you without years on the road, but we will.
- 1-3 years of farm experience, whether you grew up on one or worked harvest
- Valid driver's licence with a clean abstract
- Mechanically inclined, shows up early, takes coaching, owns your mistakes
- Comfortable with phone apps and farm tech (we run John Deere Operations Center)

Skills

Required: Practical commercial driving capability, safe freight handling, attention to detail, and clear communication are important for completing deliveries and coordinating work. Preferred: Forklift operation, heavy equipment operation, and automotive repair skills can support efficient loading, equipment use, and basic vehicle care; related experience is an advantage.

Pay: $32.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 55.0 per week
