Position Title: Security Guard
Employment Type: Temporary (As Needed)
Pay Rate: $22.50 per hour

Site Overview

Located in Princeton, BC, this client site offers a welcoming environment focused on community safety and positive customer interactions. As a Security Guard on site, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure, and professional atmosphere for employees, visitors, and the public.

What You'll Be Doing

- Maintain a visible security presence to reassure clients, staff, and visitors.

- Patrol site premises, manage access control points, and report any hazards or irregularities.

- Respond promptly and professionally to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations.

- Enforce site rules, safety protocols, and regulations.

- Write detailed and accurate daily logs and incident reports.

- Provide high-quality customer service and assist visitors as needed.

Must Haves

- Valid BC Security License.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to remain composed and professional during high-pressure situations.

- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.

- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice-to-Haves

- Basic Occupational First Aid certification.

- Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle.

- Previous experience in customer service or security roles.
