Senior Business Analyst – Charles River (CRD)

We are seeking 3-5 experienced Senior Business Analysts with hands-on Charles River (CRD) experience to support a confirmed implementation engagement within the investment management industry.

This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced investment technology professionals, connecting business requirements with front- and middle-office trading and investment workflows.

What You'll Do

- Lead requirements gathering and business analysis for Charles River implementation initiatives.

- Work with portfolio managers, traders, operations, technology teams, and implementation consultants.

- Analyze investment workflows, trade lifecycle processes, system integrations, and data requirements.

- Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and test scenarios.

- Support system configuration discussions, testing, UAT, defect resolution, and production readiness.

- Identify opportunities to improve investment operations and platform efficiency.

What We're Looking For

- Senior-level business analysis experience within asset management, wealth management, pension funds, or capital markets.

- Direct,



hands-on experience with Charles River IMS (CRD) implementations, enhancements, or major integrations.

- Strong understanding of order management, investment workflows, and the trade lifecycle.

- Demonstrated experience working with business stakeholders and technology delivery teams.

- Ability to operate independently in complex, enterprise-scale environments.

Highly Desirable

- Investment Book of Record (IBOR) experience.

- Investment accounting, positions, holdings, reconciliation, or portfolio data knowledge.

- Previous Charles River implementation or transformation experience.

Engagement Details

- Openings: 3–5

- Start: December 2026 / January 2027

- Employment: Contract or Full-Time

- Contract duration: Initial 6–12 months, with solid extension potential

- Permanent compensation: Approximately CAD $200K–$225K total annually, including benefits and RRSP plan, with flexibility for exceptional candidates.
