Engineering For Kids is seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and child‑focused STEM Instructors to join our growing team! If you enjoy working with children and have experience in camps or after‑school programs, this role offers a meaningful opportunity to inspire young learners through hands-on STEM activities.

About the Role

As a STEM Instructor, you will run interactive, curriculum-based lessons that introduce children to science, technology, engineering, and math in a fun, safe, and engaging environment. All curriculum training is provided.

Key Responsibilities

- Facilitate hands-on STEM lessons and activities (training provided).
- Create a positive, protected, and engaging learning environment.
- Communicate professionally with parents and provide brief updates on student progress.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth program delivery.
- Maintain safety and supervision standards at all times.

Qualifications

- Minimum 1 year of experience working with children in a camp, classroom, or after-school setting.
- Reliable vehicle and ability to drive to class locations (mandatory).
- Availability for minimum 2 weekday evenings (3–6 PM) and weekends.




- Background in STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) is an asset.
- Valid Police Vulnerable Sector Check and Standard First Aid CPR-C.

Schedule

- 2–3 weekday evenings (Monday–Friday, 3–6 PM)
- 2–3 lunchtime classes (public school partnerships)
- Weekend classes (various locations across York Region)
