We are recruiting for our client in Winnipeg, MB. This is a part-time, Temporary-to-Permanent opportunity with a direct pathway to permanent hiring based on performance and reliability.

You will be responsible for unloading and loading freight, scanning packages, and accurately sorting them to designated delivery vehicles.

Shift Schedule:

- Monday through Friday: 12:30 AM – 7:45 AM (with required flexibility until 8:15 AM during peak volume/overtime)
- Must be available for the entire schedule without time conflicts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work from conveyor systems and catwalks to sort, scan, and load freight into a bank of delivery trucks
- Read shipping addresses on cartons, match them against routing charts, and accurately direct freight to the correct vehicle
- Manually load and unload freight from conveyor lines, trailers, and delivery vans
- Maintain high sort accuracy and physical pace throughout the shift
- Work closely with team members and trainers to maintain a safe, efficient cross-dock floor
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety procedures

Requirements:

- Physical Capability: Ability to repeatedly lift and stack packages up to 70 lbs, bend, twist,



and stand on catwalks/concrete floors for full 7+ hour shifts
- Communication & Detail: Strong English communication skills (verbal and reading) to coordinate with trainers, read addresses quickly, and follow sort charts accurately
- Schedule: 100% attendance and punctuality for the early-morning 12:30 AM start
- Safety Gear: CSA-approved green triangle steel-toe footwear required from day one
- Background Check: Must clear a mandatory criminal background check before placement
