The CEFA educational system is one of today's leading approaches to educating young children. Its rich academic content is designed to stimulate the child in many different ways, to optimize the natural development of the child's brain. This wonderful approach facilitates learning experiences for children in areas such as mathematics, reading, writing, drama, science, visual arts, music, yoga, and many more. We are currently looking for a Principal for our CEFA Lions Gate school with a passion for working with staff, families and the surrounding community, for our Junior Kindergarten program, serving children 10 months to 5 years of age. We are seeking quick thinking, confident, self-motivated, organized, friendly personalities.

The Principal’s role is to inspire Teachers to become better Teachers, and to facilitate the implementation of the CEFA educational method and philosophy.

This position is open to all applicants who hold a valid Early Education license, is CEFA certified (or be willing to take the CEFA training), have experience in a pre-school or childcare setting, and have knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, and the Internet. Experience in management is a plus, but not mandatory. Principal training will be available.

- Ensuring that the CEFA curriculum and general operational policies of the school are carried out
- Provide stimulation and motivation for teachers to spend time growing and learning together.
- Hiring and new staff orientation
- Conduct regular one-on-ones with all teachers
- Be a resource for new and aspiring CEFA teachers
- Conducting new family/student interviews
- Developing a strong and positive relationship with families
- Monitoring Teacher’s progress and providing positive feedback, regularly.
- Working a minimum of 15 hours per week in-class, with each and every Teacher, observing Teachers leading their activities, as well as presenting activities at time
- Being able to talk knowledgeably about our program and the CEFA philosophy to families, staff and outside groups and individuals

Pay: $60,000.00-$66,000.00 per year
