Cobourg Kia is seeking a reliable Seasonal Tire Hauler to support our Service department during tire season. You will move tires between the dealership and its storage location and help keep tire handling organized, protected and efficient.

What We Offer

- $19.00 per hour, plus vacation pay in accordance with applicable employment standards.
- A temporary seasonal opportunity lasting approximately two months.
- At least three hours of work per scheduled workday, with additional hours as needed. A minimum of three hours of pay applies when you report as scheduled and remain available to work.

Key Responsibilities

- Retrieve, move, load, unload and store tires and wheel assemblies between the dealership and storage location.
- Drive company vehicles to transport tires safely along assigned routes.
- Follow instructions to identify and organize tire sets and communicate discrepancies or damage.
- Use safe lifting and load-securing practices, handling equipment and assistance as needed; keep storage and loading areas orderly.
- Follow health and safety procedures and promptly report vehicle, equipment or workplace hazards.

Qualifications and Skills

- Reliable attendance, punctuality, attention to detail and the ability to work cooperatively.
- Ability to perform repeated lifting, carrying, bending and moving of tires and wheel assemblies safely, with appropriate equipment, assistance and accommodation where required.
- Comfort working indoors and outdoors in seasonal weather.
- A valid driver’s licence appropriate for the assigned company vehicles. Driving is an essential duty. Driver eligibility is subject to a driving-record review and confirmation that company insurance requirements are met before driving begins.
