We are seeking a compassionate, dependable Health Care Aide to support individuals with daily living needs and help them maintain comfort, dignity, and independence. This role may involve providing senior care, home care, or support for individuals with disabilities. The successful candidate will follow care plans, communicate respectfully with clients and their support teams, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

Duties

- Assist clients with personal care and everyday activities while respecting their privacy, preferences, and independence.




- Provide attentive senior care and support individuals with disabilities according to their needs and established care plans.
- Offer dementia care using patience, clear communication, and a calm, reassuring approach.
- Support medication administration when authorized and trained, following applicable procedures and care instructions.
- Prepare meals and assist with eating as needed, while following dietary guidance.
- Complete light cleaning and household tasks to maintain a tidy, safe living space.
- Observe and report changes in a client’s condition, behavior, or daily needs to the appropriate care team.
- Maintain accurate, respectful documentation and protect client confidentiality.

Experience

- Previous caregiving experience is preferred.
- Experience in assisted living, a nursing home, or home care is an asset.
- Experience working with older adults or individuals with disabilities is valued.
- Familiarity with dementia care, medication administration, meal preparation, and light cleaning is beneficial.
- Applicants should demonstrate compassion, reliability, sound judgment, and a respectful approach to supporting people with wide-ranging needs.
