Support young children as an Early Childhood Educator Float with ANHBC in Kitsilano, using play-based learning and collaborative leadership. The Association of Neighbourhood Houses of BC seeks a confident Early Childhood Educator Float for a fixed-term daycare position. You will help create inclusive learning environments, support educators, and build relationships with children and families. Solid planning, communication, and collaboration skills are central to this work.

Key Responsibilities
Co-create developmentally appropriate programming with staff and children Document learning through observations, photographs, products, and dialogue Support positive, respectful, child-centered discipline practices Maintain safe, clean classrooms and disinfect toys Connect families with community resources and service providers

Requirements:
Minimum two years of experience in licensed childcare Early Childhood Education qualification Valid First Aid Certificate Minimum age of 19 years under licensing regulations Ability to lift, move supplies, and arrange furniture Bring early childhood education, curriculum planning, and relationship-building skills to ANHBC’s inclusive Kitsilano childcare team.
