Bookkeeper / Tax Preparer

iCanTax Service is a fast-growing tax and accounting firm located in Surrey, BC. We are currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Tax Preparer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision and will have strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

- At least 1 year of experience in bookkeeping
- Enrollment in a recognized accounting program, completion of an accounting diploma/degree, or relevant accounting courses
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks
- Knowledge of tax preparation software is an asset, but not required
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

This position involves working with a variety of bookkeeping and tax-related matters. The successful candidate should be confident in identifying issues, researching solutions, and completing assigned work accurately and efficiently.
