Kai Head Spa is seeking passionate, reliable, and detail-oriented individuals to join our growing team as Part-Time Head Spa Technicians. We are dedicated to providing an elevated head spa experience that combines scalp care, relaxation, and exceptional customer service in a calming, luxurious environment.

Previous head spa experience is not required, as comprehensive paid training in our signature techniques, treatment protocols, equipment, and client experience standards will be provided. Applicants must meet any applicable professional qualification requirements for their assigned services. Duties & Responsibilities

- Perform approved head spa treatments following Kai Head Spa’s established service protocols and training.
- Conduct client consultations, review relevant health and scalp information, and ensure client comfort and safety throughout treatments.
- Apply approved scalp care, cleansing, conditioning, and relaxation techniques within the technician’s qualifications and authorized scope of practice.
- Prepare treatment stations, products, towels, and equipment before appointments.
- Thoroughly clean, sanitize, and reset treatment areas between clients.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, infection prevention, and workplace cleanliness.
- Monitor client comfort and respond appropriately to concerns or sensitivities during services.
- Provide professional aftercare information and appropriate product recommendations.
- Maintain accurate client notes and follow company booking and appointment procedures.
- Assist with laundry, product organization, inventory monitoring,



and general treatment-area maintenance.
- Work cooperatively with other technicians during simultaneous appointments and shared treatment schedules.
- Follow company policies regarding confidentiality, professionalism, sanitation, and client care.
- Participate in required training, skill development, and performance assessments.
- Represent Kai Head Spa positively through professional communication, appearance, and conduct.

Preferred Experience:

-Previous employment in a spa, salon, esthetics, beauty, hospitality, or wellness environment.

-Experience providing hands-on client services.

-Familiarity with scalp care, relaxation treatments, massage techniques, or wellness products.





-Experience using appointment scheduling software.

-Previous head spa experience is an asset but is not required. Kai-specific training will be provided.

What We Offer

-$20.00 per hour plus individual gratuities.

Work Schedule & Availability

We are currently recruiting for part-time positions with the following primary availability:

Position A: Monday – Wednesday

Position B: Thursday – Saturday

Additional flexible opportunities may be available for overlapping appointments and double bookings.

Working hours are based on confirmed client appointments and operational requirements. Shifts are generally scheduled in consecutive appointment blocks to minimize unnecessary gaps.

Applicants should be comfortable with variable part-time hours rather than a guaranteed full-day schedule.

Some evening availability is an asset.
