Position Responsibilities

- Support the social, emotional, physical, and academic development of students
- Create and maintain a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and staff
- Supervise students during classroom activities, outdoor play, and transitions
- Foster independence, respect, and positive communication among students
- Maintain professionalism and solid communication with families and colleagues
- Follow all school policies, health and safety procedures, and licensing requirements

Qualifications

- Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators
- Current Standard First Aid & CPR Certification
- Vulnerable Sector Check (current within 6 months)
- Previous experience in a Montessori or childcare setting is considered an asset
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Passion for working with children in a collaborative educational environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
