Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server/Bartender to provide welcoming and efficient service in a hospitality-focused environment. This role combines serving guests, preparing and serving beverages, processing transactions, and helping maintain a clean, safe dining area. Candidates should enjoy working with people and be comfortable balancing multiple tasks in a fast-paced food service setting.

Duties

- Welcome guests, explain menu items, answer questions, and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit.
- Take and accurately enter food and beverage orders using a POS system; experience with Micros POS is a plus.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and check in with guests to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and applicable service requirements.
- Process payments, operate the register, and handle cash and card transactions accurately.
- Communicate clearly with kitchen and service staff to coordinate orders and address guest requests.
- Follow food safety and food handling practices, including proper sanitation and cleanliness procedures.




- Keep tables, service stations, bar areas, and shared workspaces organized and ready for service.
- Use time management and basic math skills to prioritize tasks, verify orders, and complete transactions accurately.

Qualifications

- Previous restaurant, serving, bartending, food service, or broader food industry experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems; Micros POS experience is an advantage.
- Strong customer service and hospitality skills, with a courteous and professional approach.
- Comfortable with serving, bartending, cashiering, and cash handling responsibilities.
- Knowledge of food safety and proper food handling practices, or willingness to learn and follow workplace procedures.
- Basic math and general math skills for order accuracy and payment processing.
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
- Transparent communication skills and a collaborative attitude when working with guests and coworkers.

Pay: $16.40 per hour
