IKIA Constructions LTD is hiring one Framer-carpenter for residential construction projects.

Wage: $32.12 per hour
Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week

Work location
On site at various residential construction projects in Cochrane and Calgary, Alberta. The employee works at the assigned project until completion before moving to the next project. Applicants from across Alberta are welcome to apply. Work must be performed on site.
Requirements
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Minimum two years of residential construction/framing experience.
Duties
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
