Overview

We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to provide welcoming and efficient service in a hospitality-focused environment. The ideal candidate enjoys helping guests, works well with a team, and can balance accuracy with a positive attitude during busy service periods. Food service, restaurant, or other food industry experience is helpful, but a strong commitment to customer service and willingness to learn are also valued.

Availability:

Part-time position- must be available to work a minimum of 15 hours.

Ability to work versatile shifts- mornings, days, evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsible Alcohol Service certifications is required (i.e., Smart Serve, Serving It Right)

Duties

- Welcome guests, explain menu items, answer questions, and provide attentive guest services throughout their visit.
- Take and enter orders accurately using a POS system; experience with Micros POS is a plus.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, check in with guests, and respond professionally to requests or concerns.
- Recommend menu items and use appropriate upselling techniques to enhance the guest experience.
- Handle cash and process payments accurately, including cashiering duties when needed.




- Follow food handling and food safety practices when serving or assisting with food preparation.
- Maintain clean, organized dining and service areas in accordance with sanitation standards.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure timely, accurate orders.
- Manage multiple tables and tasks with strong time management, attention to detail, and a calm, hospitable approach.

Requirements

- Strong customer service, communication, and hospitality skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain a professional, guest-focused demeanor.
- Basic math skills and accuracy when entering orders and handling cash.
- Willingness to follow food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to stay organized and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Food service experience, serving experience, or restaurant experience is preferred.
- Micros POS experience, kitchen experience, or familiarity with food preparation is a plus.

Pay: $17.95-$21.95 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
