Overview

The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse distribution operations by safely receiving, storing, picking, packaging, and shipping products. This hands-on role works with warehouse equipment and inventory systems to help ensure orders are accurate, materials are handled properly, and shipments move on schedule.

Responsibilities

- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials; assist with shipping and receiving documentation.
- Pick and fulfill orders, verify items and quantities, and package products for shipment.
- Load and unload deliveries and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and cranes when trained and authorized.
- Use a warehouse management system and, where applicable, AS400 to update inventory and track transactions.
- Follow secure work practices when handling heavy loads and operating heavy equipment.
- Keep work areas orderly and report damaged goods, equipment issues, or inventory discrepancies.
- Coordinate with warehouse, manufacturing, and distribution teams to support daily workflow.

Requirements





- Previous warehouse experience is preferred; experience in warehouse distribution, manufacturing, shipping and receiving, or order fulfillment is an asset.
- Familiarity with order picking, packaging, loading and unloading, and inventory procedures is helpful.
- Experience with a warehouse management system or AS400 is an advantage.
- Forklift, reach truck, order picker, crane, or other heavy equipment operation experience is preferred; required equipment training and authorization must be completed before operation.
- Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for identifying basic equipment or material-handling issues.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and remain active throughout the shift, following safe lifting practices.
- Construction experience or other hands-on work involving materials and equipment is a plus.
- Dependability, attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to workplace safety are essential.

Pay: $20.49-$23.25 per hour
