Position Overview

Augury Healthcare is currently recruiting experienced Pathologist Assistants for contract opportunities supporting healthcare facilities throughout Saskatchewan.

We are seeking qualified candidates to support anatomic pathology and surgical specimen processing. Specific assignments depend on facility staffing requirements, relevant credentials, and candidate availability.

Position Details

- Hourly Pay: $55.00–$60.00
- Location: Various locations throughout Saskatchewan
- Employment Type: Contract
- Scheduling: Days, evenings, nights, and weekends, depending on assignment
- Assignment Duration: Varies by facility requirements

Qualifications and Requirements

- Recognized Pathologists’ Assistant education or equivalent accepted credentials
- Applicable certification and relevant pathology laboratory experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience, unless the assignment specifies otherwise
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
- Additional certifications or credentials may be required depending on the placement

Key Responsibilities

- Grossly examine and dissect specimens under appropriate supervision
- Prepare tissue for histology
- Maintain specimen identification and laboratory records
- Follow applicable professional standards, workplace policies, and confidentiality requirements
