About the Role

Skyview Blinds & Shades is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Team Lead to oversee our daily operations across custom blinds, wallpaper, shades, curtains, and drapery products. In this role, you will lead client interactions, take precise technical measurements, manage order processing, and collaborate directly with our warehouse and installation teams to ensure seamless product delivery and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Customer Consultation & Sales: Meet with residential and commercial clients to provide expert advice on window treatments, fabrics, wallpaper, and motorized shading systems.
- In office Measurement: Conduct precise on-site measurements for windows, doors, and specialized openings to ensure accurate product manufacturing.
- Order Processing: Prepare, verify, and submit detailed customer orders, job ref numbers, and custom specifications into our ordering system.
- Team & Logistics Coordination: Work closely with warehouse staff, shipping carriers, and install teams to coordinate production timelines, delivery schedules, and job site installations.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect outgoing products, ensure quality control standards are met, and resolve client inquiries or adjustments promptly.
- Fleet Operation: Safely drive company vehicles (car/van) to client homes, commercial sites, and supplier sites.





Qualifications & Requirements

- Industry Experience: Previous hands-on experience in the window coverings industry (blinds, shades, drapery, shutters, or wallpaper) or a closely related interior furnishings sector is required.
- Driver's License: Must possess a valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record to operate company cars and vans.
- Flexible Schedule: Ability and willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends, to accommodate client consultation schedules and deadlines.
- Technical & Spatial Aptitude: High attention to detail when reading blueprints, specs, and precise mathematical measurements (inches, fractions).
- Leadership & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to manage warehouse coordination, lead install teams, and maintain high client satisfaction.
