Compensation: $50,000+/yr base + $6,000 vehicle allowance + km compensation + performance bonus

About the Role

Our client, a well-established player in the automotive remarketing industry, is looking for a Field Vehicle Inspector to cover the Saskatoon to Regina territory. Each morning starts with a pre-planned route; your day fills as sales reps book additional inspections across the dealership network. Beyond completing inspections, you'll be expected to build relationships on the floor — spotting opportunities to bring in more vehicle volume and growing your territory from the inside.

Compensation Breakdown

Base salary $50,000+ / year

Vehicle allowance (non-taxable) $6,000 / year

Mileage reimbursement $ / km (currently being negotiated)

Per-vehicle bonus $2.00 / vehicle inspected

Monthly performance bonus $700/month at 250 vehicles - $1,400/month at 350

Monthly target 350 vehicles (~20 per day)

What You'll Do Day to Day

- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections at dealership sites across the Regina–Saskatoon corridor — documenting mechanical, interior, and exterior conditions using the companies mobile app
- Capture high-resolution photos, verify vehicle identifiers, note observable concerns, and complete condition profiles before upload — escalate missing or uncertain information as required
- Plan and confirm your daily dealership visits, manage your own travel schedule efficiently, and respond to short-notice requests in the field
- Upload condition reports and photos to the companies platform within SLA deadlines
- Build relationships with dealership supervisors and floor staff — identify opportunities to increase vehicle volume per location
- Collaborate with Arbitration and Customer Service teams to refine inspection standards and minimize policy loss
- Locate, move,



and stage vehicles on dealership lots as needed to facilitate inspections

- Detail-oriented and accurate — zero-error data entry and thorough documentation are non-negotiable in this role
- Resourceful and adaptable — you adjust quickly to schedule changes, weather conditions, and shifting client priorities in the field
- Sales-minded approach — you see the chance to grow your route by engaging proactively with dealer contacts
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation — required
- Proficient with digital mobile applications and inspection or inventory management software
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions across Saskatchewan

Requirements

- Own reliable vehicle
- Valid class 5 driver's license
- Proof of car insurance
- Current 3-5 year drivers abstract

Nice to Have

- Experience in vehicle inspections, automotive repair, damage appraisal, or fleet field operations
- Familiarity with digital automotive remarketing processes
- ASE certification or recognized vehicle inspection credentials
- Prior experience as a dealership lot attendant, inventory assistant, or vehicle photographer
- Knowledge of Canadian wholesale automotive market trends and dealership workflows
