Our client, a franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealer group with multiple sites nationwide, is seeking a Credit Controller for its busy head office in Westbury. This Credit Controller role offers excellent long-term career prospects within a multi-award-winning organisation recognised as a Great Place to Work. ~ Salary from £12.71 per hour, depending on experience. ~40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm. ~31 days' annual leave, including bank holidays. ~ Full in-house and manufacturer-approved training. ~ As a Credit Controller, manage customer accounts and credit limits in line with company policy. Contact customers professionally to secure payment and resolve queries. Allocate incoming cash accurately and complete regular account reconciliations. Prioritise high-risk and overdue debts to minimise financial exposure.
Liaise with internal departments to resolve billing and account discrepancies. Work closely with the Head Office Accounts Manager and a friendly accounts and administration team. The successful Credit Controller will have a strong understanding of credit control and accounts receivable. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Previous automotive or commercial vehicle experience, or a relevant accountancy qualification, would be beneficial but is not essential.
