Job Overview

- The Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor provides welcoming, reliable service to hotel guests while supporting overnight operations and completing the daily audit.
- This role combines front desk and guest services responsibilities, including check-in and check-out, guest inquiries, and accurate recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

- Welcome guests, assist with check-in and check-out, and respond to questions and requests with courtesy and efficiency.
- Handle reservations, room assignments, payments, and guest account updates accurately.
- Answer and route calls using multi-line phone systems, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Provide attentive customer service and resolve routine concerns; escalate issues when appropriate.
- Complete overnight audit procedures, review daily transactions, and prepare reports for the next shift.
- Monitor the lobby and other public areas,



maintain a tidy front desk, and follow hotel safety and security procedures.
- Communicate relevant guest needs, incidents, and shift updates to hotel colleagues.

Qualifications

- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with a dependable and professional approach.
- Previous hotel experience, front desk, or guest services experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel reservation or property-management systems and multi-line phone systems is an asset.
- Ability to work overnight hours and complete audit tasks accurately with limited supervision.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are an advantage.
- A commitment to courteous service and a genuine interest in hospitality.
