About the Job:

As an important part of our kitchen operations, you’ll help keep our kitchen clean, organized, and running efficiently so we can provide guests with a great dining experience.

Duties:

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure dishes and kitchen items are cleaned and ready for use when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in dishwashing, kitchen, and food preparation areas.
- Properly handle and store cleaning products and sanitation supplies.
- Remove garbage and recycling and assist with maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and other duties as assigned.




- Work collaboratively with cooks and other team members to support smooth kitchen operations.

Physical Demands of the Role:

- Standing for extended periods.
- Frequently lifting, carrying, and handling dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen supplies.
- Repetitive hand and arm movements when washing, rinsing, sorting, and handling kitchen items.
- Bending, reaching, and stooping to access equipment, supplies, and storage areas.
- Working in a warm, humid, and sometimes noisy kitchen environment.
- Safely handling wet items, cleaning products, and kitchen equipment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- A reliable and punctual individual with a robust work ethic.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to cleanliness, sanitation, and detail.
- Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience is an asset, but a willingness to learn is just as significant.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays, as required.
