Title: Hospital Security Guard

Pay Rate: $22.50 - $25.58/hour

Located in Hope, British Columbia, this healthcare facility delivers essential medical services to the local community. Security plays an integral role in keeping the site safe, comfortable, and welcoming for patients, healthcare workers, and guests.

What You'll Be Doing

- Respond promptly to alarms, emergency requests, and safety calls throughout the facility.

- Use verbal de-escalation skills to resolve potential conflicts and maintain safety.

- Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

- Provide friendly, reassuring customer service to patients, visitors, and hospital staff.

- Complete clear, accurate incident reports and missing patient documentation.

- Handle all private and confidential information with care and discretion.

Must Haves

- Valid BC Security License.

- Legal authorization to work in Canada.

- Local residency in the Hope, BC area.

- Ability to walk and stand comfortably for extended periods during patrols.

- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Nice-to-Haves

- Valid First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain one).

- Prior experience in customer service, security, or public-facing roles.
