About the Role

O-Netrix Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced Technical Lead / Senior Systems Lead to provide senior-level technical support and leadership within our IT Services team.

This is not an IT Manager position, and it is not a help-desk role. We are looking for a senior, hands-on technical professional who is comfortable owning the complex work: servers, Microsoft 365, networks, firewalls, virtualization, cloud, backup and disaster recovery, cybersecurity, and the issues that do not fit neatly into a ticket category.

The successful candidate will act as the senior escalation point for our IT team and will have direct influence over technical standards, solution design, and service delivery.

You do not need to know everything yet — we’re looking for attitude, reliability, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn. We invest in training, mentorship, and long-term career development for the right person.

What You’ll Do

- Provide Tier 1 support both in-office and during onsite visits
- Assist with onboarding and replacement of end-user devices
- Perform routine IT tasks such as password resets, account setup, email configuration, and workstation deployment
- Troubleshoot basic software, hardware, printer, and peripheral issues
- Document support work accurately and maintain clear communication with clients and teammates
- Escalate complex issues to senior technicians when appropriate
- Deliver excellent customer service with a friendly and professional attitude

Key Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Level 3 technical issues.
- Design and implement customer IT environments.
- Lead infrastructure projects, migrations and upgrades.
- Work across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Windows Server, networking, firewalls, virtualization, cloud services, backup/disaster recovery and cybersecurity.
- Establish and maintain technical standards, documentation and best practices.




- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to IT technicians.
- Work directly and professionally with business owners and customer contacts.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Requirements

- Five years of relevant IT experience, with demonstrated senior-level technical capability.
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Windows Server and network infrastructure.
- Experience troubleshooting complex server, network and end-user IT issues.
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence.
- Clean or acceptable Criminal Record Check.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
- Microsoft Entra ID, cybersecurity, virtualization, firewalls and backup/disaster recovery experience.
- Seven or more years of broad IT experience across multiple customer environments.

Compensation

- $36–$42/hour depending on experience and certifications
