Located in North Vancouver, this active retail shopping centre serves as a primary hub for local shoppers, diners, and community members. Working here offers a supportive environment where safety, visibility, and positive public interactions come together daily.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Security Guard, you will help maintain a protected, friendly, and secure environment for property tenants, visitors, and staff. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Conducting regular foot patrols across indoor and outdoor areas of the property.

- Providing helpful customer service and assistance to members of the public and store staff.

- Communicating professionally with clients, tenants, visitors, and emergency responders.

- De-escalating conflicts, handling trespass incidents, and executing evictions when necessary.

- Enforcing property rules and municipal bylaws.

- Writing clear, detailed, and accurate incident reports.

Must Haves

- Valid BC Security Worker License.

- Legal authorization to work in Canada.

- Physical ability to patrol on foot indoors and outdoors for the majority of a shift.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-Haves

- Access to a personal vehicle to commute to and from shifts that fall outside regular public transit hours.

- Prior experience working in security or customer service settings.

- Demonstrated experience de-escalating conflict or managing challenging situations independently.
