Express Employment Professionals Calgary South is currently hiring for a full time Forklift to work for our reputable client in the south of Calgary, AB. The primary responsibility of this role is to load orders accurately and safely while operating a sit-down counterbalance forklift and performing general warehouse duties. - Pay Rate: $19 to $21/hour, based on experience
- Location: Onsite, Calgary, AB
- Job Type: Full-time
- Shift: Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Load orders accurately and safely in trucks as per the shipment confirmation
- Inspect machinery before use to ensure it is working properly. Should notify a Supervisor/Team Lead if equipment is defective
- Use of wireless RF Scanning equipment and counterbalance forklift
- Ensure full compliance with all operating, sanitation and safety standards

Qualifications:

- Minimum two (1)



years of experience operating a sit-down forklift
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a warehouse setting
- Valid forklift certification is an asset
- Excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills, in order to report product condition to ensure that it meet specifications.
- Team player, adaptable, and energetic with a positive professional attitude.
- Demonstrate ability to work unsupervised and meet key deadlines.
- Ability to work in high-paced environment.
- Good time management skills.
