At Iconic Security is now hiring licensed Professionals Security Guards who can provide visible, advanced-level security service in a professional, competent, and courteous manner.

Requirements:

- Tact and diplomacy in dealings at all levels of the organization. (Tactical experience preferred
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Police Foundations/Law Enforcement diploma or security experience in positions of increasing responsibility is an asset

Job Duties:

- Ensure that establishment safety and emergency procedures are followed the chain of command.
- Monitor CCTV, access control & alarm systems from the security office
- Patrol assigned areas that include responding to routine, and security & law enforcement calls to show presence against theft, vandalism, trespassing, and fire.
- Enforce regulations of the establishment to maintain order, safety, and emergency procedures by providing a highly visible presence on and around with the ability to react in multiple scenarios.
- Respond to all emergency response needs such as providing First Aid, missing person, verbal/physical altercation, etc.




- Acting as an agent of the client site by creating a presence that builds a protected and welcoming environment for all service users, employees, and visitors.
- De-escalating stressful situation where conflict resolution is required in defusing the situation
- Recording and maintaining logbook of daily activities, unusual or special occurrences and issuance of equipment to staff

Technical Skills:

- Understands property management and property security & life safety needs.
- Knowledge and understanding of applicable federal, provincial, and municipal legislation and regulations in security and life safety management.
- Observing, investigating, and acting on possible breaches of security, fire, and safety, hazards, illegal entry, theft and malfunction or interruption of utilities through the radio, phone, and computer systems.

Prerequisites: At the time of the interview, applicants must be able to produce proof of completion of the following:

- First Aid & CRP Level C
- Use of Force
- Basic Security Training
- A Valid Ontario Security Guard License

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44.0 per week
