Career1 is currently hiring Dishwashers / Kitchen Helpers for our client. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, washing dishes and cookware, assisting with basic food preparation, and supporting daily kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Pre-rinse dishes, utensils, and cookware to remove food debris.
- Load and unload commercial dishwashers.
- Monitor and maintain dishwasher soap and water levels.
- Wash large pots, pans, and kitchen equipment by hand.
- Dry, organize, and store clean dishes and utensils.
- Assist with basic food preparation, including peeling, cutting, and plating ingredients.
- Receive and properly store food deliveries.
- Sweep, clean, and sanitize kitchen floors and work areas.
- Remove garbage and maintain waste and recycling stations.
- Support kitchen staff as needed to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Able to lift, push, and pull up to 10 kg (22 lbs).
- Strong attention to cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.




- Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience is an asset but not required.

Schedule

- Day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required.
- Full-time and part-time opportunities may be available.

Accommodation Option: Shared staff accommodation may be available for full time employees (subject to availability) at approximately $20-$25 per day.
