Cabinet Shop Worker – Edge Banding & Assembly

About the Position

PCW is a cabinet manufacturing company seeking an experienced Cabinet Shop Worker to join our production team. This position focuses on edge banding and cabinet assembly in a shop environment.

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in quality workmanship and has previous hands-on experience in a cabinet shop.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up and operate edge banding equipment to produce clean, consistent finishes.
- Inspect finished edges and complete trimming, cleanup, and touch-ups as required.
- Assemble cabinet boxes and components according to shop drawings and production specifications.
- Install cabinet hardware and fittings as required during assembly.
- Check components and completed cabinets for accuracy, fit, and overall quality.
- Identify and report material defects, equipment concerns, or production issues.
- Handle materials and finished cabinetry carefully to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow shop safety procedures.




- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet schedules and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a cabinet manufacturing or woodworking shop.
- Hands-on experience with edge banding equipment and cabinet assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, measurements, and assembly details.
- Familiarity with cabinet materials, hardware, hand tools, and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate, consistent work.
- Ability to work independently and contribute effectively to a team.
- Reliable attendance, good communication skills, and a qualified work ethic.
- Ability to safely perform the physical duties of the role, including standing, lifting, and moving cabinet components.
