Position: Part-Time Pharmacy Assistant
Hours: 20–30 hours per week, with potential for increased hours in the future
About Us
Angel Care Pharmacy is a newly established pharmacy located within Angel Care Medical Centre in Guelph, Ontario.
As a new pharmacy, we anticipate a lower prescription volume initially, providing a manageable work environment as we build our patient base. Prescription volume and working hours are expected to increase as the pharmacy grows.
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Pharmacy Assistant to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with prescription preparation and dispensing.
- Process prescriptions using the Fillware pharmacy management system.
- Operate the Fillware POS system for customer transactions.
- Assist with prescription billing and insurance adjudication.
- Manage inventory, medication orders, and stock organization.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist patients with inquiries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pharmacy environment.
- Support daily pharmacy operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous pharmacy assistant experience preferred.
- Experience with Fillware is an asset.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and grow with the pharmacy.
