We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced owner operator to support the functions of our operations and deliveries teams. We handle appliances, furniture, and other large home movables, and we're looking for a hard-working individual with 5 ton truck driving experience who'll be able to specialize in delivery, white glove, & installation services to and from our clients, customers and business partners. Must be able to work in both Oshawa & Belleville.
What you'll be responsible for...
As an integral part of our operations team, the main duties in this role include, but are not limited to:
- Providing driver services for daily warehouse functions
- Providing driver services as part of our reverse logistics processes
- Providing delivery support for our on-the-road delivery teams
- Providing driver services for client specific deliveries and runs
- Assisting onboarding and training processes of current delivery teams
- Contributing to daily on-the-floor warehouse tasks
- Performing other tasks as needed as they relate to the functions of our warehouse
Where you’ll be working…
The boxes you need to tick…
- Valid drivers license
- A clean drivers abstract
- At least 3 year's worth of 5 ton truck driving experience
- At least 6 months home delivery experience with appliances, furniture or other large home movable
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Physically fit, being able to move at least 100 lbs. consistently
- Air brake endorsement is an asset
