Navera Community connections is looking for a passionate Early Childhood Educator (Level I, II, or III) to provide quality care for children ages 0-6 years old, and interact co-operatively with parents. This is a full time position at our 90-space Early Learning Centre, Rosewood location. Navera Community Connections is a nonprofit organization with a vision of thriving people and connected communities. We do this through early learning centres, counselling and mental health services, and a range of community programs. Provide physical care and engagement for children of all ages. Plan and implementing age-appropriate developmental activities for children. Observe and monitoring the development and health of children, keeping accurate individual progress records (childcare sheets). Work with parents to cooperatively plan for the care of their children. Report children's health and progress to parents daily and providing parents access to copies of their children's files. Maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and safety of children.



May be involved in planning and preparing children's meals and snacks. May participate on internal committees or represent Navera Community Connections on external committees as appropriate. Experience:
Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Level I, II, or III is required. Experience in Early Learning working with children ages 0-6. Food Safe Certificate is an asset. Experience working with a team is an asset. Experience working in the non-profit sector is an asset. Knowledge and understanding of child development. Proven ability to model and promote positive relationships with children and families. Observes and navigates everyday situations with children, parents, and employees as they arise. Flexible to adapt readily to interruptions, changes, and shifts in tasks and circumstances, including conflict and sometimes stressful situations. May deal with unpredictable child behaviour.',
