Deliver preventative foot screening and active pathology care as a Chiropodist with William Osler Health System’s hemodialysis team. Work days, including weekends and statutory holidays.

This full-time, temporary 24-month Chiropodist assignment supports chronic hemodialysis patients across Osler’s hospital network. Apply chiropody expertise, advanced wound care knowledge, and Diabetes Canada guidance in practice. The position combines direct patient care, education, clinical documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Current registration with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario is required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver patient care on William Osler Health System hemodialysis units
- Complete foot screening every six weeks for chronic hemodialysis patients
- Educate patients, caregivers, and care teams on preventative foot care
- Standardize foot care and support plans for active complications
- Document encounters and initiate referrals when conditions exceed scope

Requirements:

- Current registration in valuable standing with Ontario’s College of Chiropodists
- Recognized Chiropody or Podiatric Medicine program graduation
- Experience implementing Diabetes Canada and Wounds Canada practice guidelines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within interdisciplinary teams
