Class 1 Driver B-train oil tankers/ Operator – Full time (Edmonton, AB)
Recycle West is hiring a Full-Time Class 1 Driver / Operator based in Edmonton, Alberta to service customers throughout Northern Alberta hauling liquid waste.
What You’ll Do:
Safely transport and haul liquid waste to various customer locations
Operate an 18-speed manual transmission truck
Travel throughout Northern Alberta, including oil lease roads, Travel to northern Manitoba and South Saskatchewan
Complete digital logs and manifests
Work Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends as required
Requirements:
Valid Class 1 Driver’s License
Minimum 2 years of liquid hauling experience (required)
Experience driving B train units is an asset
Comfortable operating an 18-speed manual transmission
Able to safely drive on mountain and oil lease roads
Willing and able to install tire chains during winter conditions
Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Current driver’s abstract required
Schedule:
Monday to Friday (weekends as needed)
12–14 hour shifts
Overnight travel 2–4 nights per week (Sleep in truck with $100 per/night allowance)
Compensation
Competitive hourly wage
Overtime paid after 8 hours/day
Paid statutory holidays
Annual earnings of approximately $100,000–$135,000
